Textbooks often come with a code that unlocks the book and/or assignments online.
Physical books usually have the code printed inside them or come with a paper slip that it is printed on.
Digital textbook codes can be accessed by going to my.clarkstate.edu > Virtual Bookstore > Menu > Digital Bookshelf > name of book > Copy Code.
On that page, directly below the code, is usually a button that allows you to access the company’s website. For Cengage you’ll need to create an account. It is strongly recommend that students their Clark State credentials for this account.
Once the account is created, they should see their book on the Cengage site. Clicking into it, they’ll have an option to enter the code they purchased. Copy and paste from the above.
Often a Blackboard class will have a link to the Cengage site as well. This may be under the Start Here or Lessons links.
